Bali Reflections: A Journey Toward Conscious Living and Earthly Respect

Bali Reflections: A Journey Toward Conscious Living and Earthly Respect

by Suzy Scarpa

Wishing you all a Happy New Year! I hope the beginning of this year has brought you joy and renewed energy. As we begin a new chapter, I wanted to take a moment to share a glimpse into the start of my year.

Over the last few weeks, I had the opportunity to explore Bali for the first time. The blend of faith, spirituality, and sense of community left an indelible mark on my heart. However, within the beauty lay a stark reality – the presence of consumerism and the disheartening sight of single-use plastic across the beautiful beaches.

The distressing sight of plastic pollution reminded me of my commitment to contribute positively to the environment. This determination though goes beyond the creation of eco-friendly products; it has fulled in me the want to join initiatives aimed at cleaning up our surroundings. My personal commitment this year will be to contribute to lightening the burden on Mother Earth by being more mindful of my choices and translating reflections from our trip into meaningful actions.

The truth is, a journey to Bali wasn't necessary for me to gain perspective, and it isn't a prerequisite for you either. While travel can offer insights, understanding is usually found in our own observations, regardless of surroundings. Together, we can make small yet impactful changes to create a sustainable legacy, ensuring a thriving planet for generations to come.

Much love,

Suzy
